It all begins with an idea<\/h2>\n

A silhouette, a material, a colour, a detail, a need\u2026 Every Lyne Juline handbag begins with an inspiration that I sketch and develop in my atelier in Pratteln, Switzerland.<\/p>\n

I think about the woman who will carry it, her everyday life, her movements and what she wants to take with her. Little by little, the lines become more precise and the idea becomes a design.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

From sketch to prototype<\/h2>\n

Before becoming part of a collection, each design goes through the essential prototyping stage.<\/p>\n

Some prototypes are made directly by me in my atelier in Pratteln. I cut, assemble, test and adjust the volumes, proportions and functionality.<\/p>\n

Others are entrusted to partner ateliers that work from my sketches, specifications and material choices. Together, we refine the prototype until we achieve the desired result.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Choosing the materials<\/h2>\n

The feel, suppleness, colour, structure and the way a material will age over time already shape the personality of the future handbag.<\/p>\n

Leathers, textiles, linings and metal hardware are selected with care to achieve the right balance between aesthetics, functionality and character.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Precise craftsmanship<\/h2>\n

Cutting, positioning, assembling, stitching, and sometimes starting again\u2026 The prototype makes it possible to understand the handbag before it truly exists.<\/p>\n

Every detail matters: the width of a handle, the position of a pocket, the structure of a flap, or the way the handbag moves with the person carrying it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

We are citizens of the world, and craftsmanship knows no borders.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Craftsmanship open to the world<\/h2>\n

Lyne Juline is a brand conceived in Switzerland, yet deeply open to the world.<\/p>\n

To make our handbags, we choose to work with small-scale workshops and human-sized ateliers, sometimes family-run, located in different countries.<\/p>\n

We select our partners for their craftsmanship, experience and ability to produce in limited editions while respecting the identity of each creation.<\/p>\n

The origin of each handbag is indicated so that its story can be known and shared with transparency.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Then comes production<\/h2>\n

Once the prototype has been approved, the leather is cut, the different pieces are prepared and then assembled. Pockets, linings, closures and metal details gradually complete the design.<\/p>\n

Piece by piece, the drawing leaves the paper and becomes a handbag.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lyne Juline has chosen limited editions. Producing fewer pieces helps preserve the distinctive character of each design and avoid mass production.<\/p>\n
